Doctor

  • Dr. Clint L Hall


         Dr. Hall is a native of Montgomery, Alabama, where he graduated from Robert E. Lee Highschool in 1993.  He obtained his BS in Pre Vet in 1977 from Auburn University and graduated in 1980 from The School of Veterinary Medicine at Auburn.  Upon graduation, he and his wife Valarie, whom were married in 1978, moved to Cairo, Georgia and he became employeed at Cairo Animal Hospital.  In the fall of 1982, he and Valarie came to Jesup, Georgia and purchased Wolfe Animal Hospital from Dr. John Wolfe.  Dr. Wolfe has continued to work for the practice ever since. 

         Dr. Hall is co-owners of Wolfe Animal Hospital with Dr. David Barwick who came to the hospital in 1992.  Dr. Hall treats both large and small animals, enjoying the challenges in both types of medicine.  He and his wife have two children, Christina, 23 and Charles, 16.

  • David W Barwick , DVM


         Dr. Barwick is a Wayne County native who graduated from Wayne Co. High School in 1984.  He then recieved a BS degree in Biology from The University of Georgia College of Agriculture and went on to recieve his DVM from UGA College of Veterinary Medicine in 1992.  He recieved his accredidation and licensure in the same year and came back home to Jesup to practice at Wolfe Animal Hospital.  He is co-owner of WAH with Dr. Clint Hall.
         Dr. Barwick and his wife Amy have three children.  Hunter, age eleven, Tanner, age nine and Amber, age six and reside in Jesup.

Management

  • Mrs. Valarie Hall , Corporation Administrater


         Valarie Hall has been with Wolfe Animal Hospital since her husband, Dr. Clint Hall bought the practice in 1982.  Valarie corporation administrator and has the responsibility of managing payroll for our health care team, accounts payable, OSHA safety coordinator and human resources.  Valarie is also our educational and public relations coordinator.  She overseas our petweek promotionals, provides for speaking engagments to discuss and promote the profession of veterinary medicine or proper health care along with other community involved programs and advertising.  Her years of expierence allow her to function in many positions involving patient care as well.

  • Mrs. Maudie Wilder , Office Manager


     

                Maudie is our office manager and has been with our health care team for 15 years.  Her experience and skill lends her knowledge that can be applied to any position in the hospital.

                Her responsibilities include managing the heath care team staff, including veterinary assistants, veterinary technicians and office staff.  She handles employee scheduling and human resources while interfacing with the doctors to provide assistants to them as well, whether medical or administrative.  Maudie is also available for brief consults, behavior consults and grief counseling.

Technician

  • Jacob Weaver , Veterinary Assistant


    Jacob's tasks include a variety of things such as ordering prescription pet foods as well as dietary lines, photographing and developing x-rays, performing routine dental cleanings, assisting Dr.Wolfe in ear trims and routine surgeries, assisting receiving doctor in administering vaccinations and other medical and trauma cases, performing triage on emergency cases, administering puppy and kitten vaccinations as well as introducing preventitive medicines to clients, initializing and maintaining intravenous therapy, assisting Dr.Barwick and Dr.Hall in major and minor surgeries as well as routine surgeries.  Jacob also cleans up after and maintains the well being of our in hospital patients as well as making sure all medical orders are followed precisely.

  • Whitney Mallard , Lab Technician


                Whitney is our lab tech.  She is mainly responsible for complying with doctors orders to include processing of laboratory submissions and in house testing.  She initiates the preparatory process and follows through to the end result where it is her duty to record medical data from lab results concisely. 

                Whitney interfaces with doctors and clients to institute treatment after a diagnosis has been made.  Whitney also assists with patient handling in exam rooms as well as radiography, dental procedures and medication refills.  Whitney enjoys her position as she provides care for the well being of our patients as well.

Reception

  • Lynn Sapp , CSR


                Lynn is the receptionist in charge of appointment dismissals.  She is always efficient, to be sure the patient leaves with all necessary information pertinent to health care needs.  She handles billing; product dispensing and brief consults with our doctors.  She often assists with scheduling appointments and referrals and in some situations, grief counseling. 

                Lynn has been with our health care team for 11 years and has the experience you can count on to meet all of your customer service needs and will be the familiar face you see at the end of the day, as she is responsible for closing our office.

  • Crissy McManus , CSR


         Crissy is our health care financial planner and handles our patient discharges from the hospital.  She is a vital part of our health care team since she is responsible for discharge instructions, client education regarding patient case and care and medication instructions.  She often initiates calls for referrals before discharge.

         Crissy handles billing and assists clients in pre payment plans and offers financial planning to meet the patients health care needs.  She also assists with scheduling appointments, brief consults, product dispensing and excellent customer service.

  • Georgia Manning , CSR


    Georgia is the smiling face that greets you with a warm welcome at our check in window.  Georgia is also responsible for scheduling appointments and brief consults so you are likely to speak with her on the phone as well.  If she is unable to help you she will direct your call accordingly and always with a smile. 

                Georgia’s other tasks include record and data entry, processing and filing medical forms, dispensing products and medications and customer service.

  • Candice Pratt , CSR


                Candace is the newest addition to our health care team.  Her position includes the busy task of manning our multi-line phone system.  Her people-pleasing manner brings cheer to our office as she dutifully meets our client’s requests.  She will direct your call to the person needed to assist you.

                Candace is also responsible for interfacing with the doctors regarding patient care and reporting to the client the patients progress as well as relaying and returning phone calls, processing call in prescriptions, processing and filing medical documents and data entry.

Kennel

  • Sylvester , Blood Donor


    This is Wolfe Animal Hospitals very own blood donor.  Sylvester is kept in excellent health so that at any time his services are needed he can perform.  Sylvester has saved many many kittens and adult cats that have been on deaths door from anemia.  Thank you sylvester.

  • Daisy


    Daisy is our canine blood donor.  She is also kept in tip top shape in order to be ready for any emergency.  She enjoys playing with her toy pig and barking at everything.  She is full of life and loves to go out with daddy charles and play in the field.
